Breach

It was a struggle to find the subject for this painting. I left more open white space to see what might suggest itself around the edges. Eventually I saw a humpback whale inspired by scenes we witnessed from our lanai during visits to Maui over several years. I painted many layers over the main image to get the effect of water streaming down the breaching whale. I have art quality prints also, for $65.00.
